Welcome to the Golden 1 Credit Union arena, home of the Sacramento Kings! And home of these giant screens.

After living in California for more than a year, we finally made it to a Sacramento Kings game. Not only is the NBA pretty awesome, but they are also my favorite team. Why? All the purple. It was terrific. Everyone wears purple, black and gray. My people! . . .

Kansas City: Here for the Beer

Welp, we know why Dad is here.

That headline is not talking about me. Not in the slightest. I think the stuff is nasty, but the things you do for family. Life is rough.

Dad obviously had different thoughts about our tour of the Boulevard Brewing Co. We took the free public tour, which last about an hour. You learn about the history of the place and the making process, plus you get beer during and at the end of the tour. If you like beer, especially free beer, hit this place up next time you visit Kansas City. . . .

Day 1 in Greece: Check In and Explore

The Greece flag flies over the ticket booth for Keramikos. Here we bought our Athens pass with eight passes for city attractions.

Up until landing in Athens, our trip was pretty typical. Or at least for us. We stayed up all night, got on our early flight to Philly and then flew on to Athens. We didn't have any flight issues, but slept very little on the flight. Instead, I movied hard. Thank you, in-flight entertainment. . . .

But First Photos: My Favorite 11 Photos From Greece

After more than a week since returning from our vacation to Greece, I am finally posting some photos. Friends and family have been awaiting these images, and I kept them in suspense. Why? Not because I don't want to share, but because, tbh, I have been watching a lot of Olympic coverage (gymnastics, am I right?!?!) and I took more than 1,600 photos while we were gone. That's a lot of photos to sort through. It's so many that your eyes start to burn a little as you pull the best images. . . .
