Philly kids charge during training.
A couple weeks ago when we went to Philly, we got a little soldier training show from some kids visiting the historic town. Sprinkled throughout the town were Once Upon a Nation signs and benches. These locations offer fun bits of history to kids.
We came upon a bunch of little soldiers getting ready for battle. They had wooden guns to use for training, but they held potential dangers. As the kids lined up and swung their gun on their shoulder, many flung it back much too far. The leader had to correct them before they turned to face left, otherwise, many of them would have ended up with a bruised head. It's safe to say, these little soldiers weren't ready for battle.
