After watching that video and reading an article on NPR, I thought about how important words are. Almost every day my job or hobbies include words. According to Oxford Dictionary, a quarter of a million distint English words exist. That is a lot of words to pick from each time I write a story, blog, caption or blurb.

Like in the video, I want to find the right words that make people think and make a difference. At my most recent job edition, I am writing newsletters for nonprofits. That means I am one of the tools the nonprofit is using to connect with their supporters.
