In Week 4, the Nash Potatoes scored big! We increased our record to 3-1, and held off Matt's team for the win. But while the Nash Potatoes were winning, Steve Nash continued not to heal. He couldn't even jog last week according to reports. So, Ramon Sessions is still holding up the point guard position, which he did okay at for his first time. . . .
Last month, I displayed my first door wreath for Thanksgiving. For December, I transformed it into a holiday wreath. All it took was a spool of wired ribbon, the extraction of all the Thanksgiving yarn and decoration, and bow making skills.
I lacked that last one, but thanks to this YouTube video, I made a presentable bow. Before the presentable one you see, I made a few mangled and weepy attempts. (Cole even tried too because I was struggling. He didn't have much luck either.) . . .
The apartment missed the drifting aroma of turkey in the oven or pumpkin pie cooling on the counter. But Cole did whip up a favorite of his: Candied yams.
Before Thanksgiving, we knew the ingredients, but not the process to Cole's tasty dish. After a few calls home to consult the experts, Cole made some candied yams that he claims taste just as good as his mom's and grandma's. Thanks to Chef Cole, you can make the same tasty dish at home. . . .
DeAndre Jordan looks like a puppy as he goes to score. Great fit for my team.
Week 3 tested my wounded team. Chalmers had to lead us as point guard because Steve Nash is still out with injuries. Regardless of our non-intimidating players, the Nash Potatoes beat Chris' STRO LOKO.
