Memorial Day Celebrations 2013

To celebrate Memorial Day, Cole and I joined up with his parents and sisters to visit the National Zoo.	Mmm... sloth bear treats.	Nappy cat.
The elephant strolls through his park.	The gorilla uses a stick to dig into bugs.	The lions rest up on the ledge.
These little monkeys were everywhere in the small mammal exhibit.	Oh, you see me.	The D.C. zoo is known for its pandas. The girl panda snacks on bamboo outside.
The male panda munches on bamboo inside his piles of treats.	Pandas are pretty sweet.	Rawr.
Somebody liked the zoo!	Then we hiked over to the Washington National Cathedral.	On the cathedral grounds, there is a beautiful garden.
The cathedral was started in 1907.	Michele and Bud rest on a garden bench.	The cathedral was finished on Sept. 29, 1990.
The cathedral is mostly built with Indiana limestone.	After touring the inside, you can go up to the observation deck. You can see a lot of D.C. from up there.
